Raag Kalyan Medley Piyashi Sengupta guided Ajivasan Students in a soulful tribute of timeless melodies. A showcase of classical fusion at its finest.
🎶 Breathing Life into Classical Melodies
There’s something timeless about Raag Kalyan. It speaks with grace, touches the heart, and demands a sincerity that’s both technical and emotional. As part of Ajivasan Act 2023, I had the joy of guiding, designing, and mentoring a talented group of students to perform this beautiful medley—and it turned out to be one of our most heartfelt collaborations.
🌟 A Lineup That Felt Like a Symphony
The medley included classics like:
- Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo
- Abhi Na Jao Chhod Kar (Hum Dono)
- Laal Ishq (Ram-Leela)
- Jiya Le Gayo Ji Mora Saawariya (Anpadh)
- Aayat (Bajirao Mastani)
Each song was rooted in Raag Kalyan, and watching these young voices bring emotion, harmony, and expression to them was a proud moment for me as a mentor.
