After nearly a decade, singer-composer Piyashi Sengupta and her brother Abir Sengupta are teaming up again for an upcoming Ghazal—a work rich in lyrical depth and emotional melody.

Following their impactful collaboration on Tu Ji Le Zara (2015), which was a tribute to Nepal earthquake victims, this Ghazal is their next poetic venture—written by Abir, composed by Piyashi.

“There’s a comfort in working with someone who knows your musical soul,” says Piyashi.

Art, when born from shared memories and emotional bonds, becomes timeless. That’s exactly what makes these upcoming Ghazals by Piyashi Sengupta and her brother Abir Sengupta so special.

In a first-ever family collaboration, the song has been written by Abir, who has poured personal reflection and poetic emotion into every word, while Piyashi takes charge of the composition, lending her signature blend of classical depth and modern soul.

“It’s a Ghazal that comes from the heart and stays with the listener,” says Piyashi.
